If you really knew me you would know that my favorite flowers are lilacs. I rarely see them here but they used to, when I was growing up, line 3 sides of my backyard ~ the light & dark purple & white ones ~ for all 3 summer months ...   ~~ that dancing was my first form of real expression and continues be an important aspect of my spiritual practice & personal empowerment    ~~that I write poetry, make art & am an avid haiku enthusiast ~~that I'm a certified wedding officiant ~~that I wish nothing more than that our everyday lives ... & those of everyone we can possibly imagine, known or unknown, become more & more integrated, with soft places to land & loving, welcoming arms, known or unknown, in or outside of ourselves, in or outside of this realm, reaching out & ready to embrace us from all directions ... even as we learn to fill ourselves. ~~that I live for those rare & ecstatic moments of the dance when everything else drops out & all that remains is the holy.
