Self-Empowerment is a one-day workshop that explores ways we tend to give our power away, and looks at replacing them with skills and tools that foster independence and choice.  It’s about owning our own behavior and not taking on responsibility for the behaviours of others. 
 
We’ll engage in exercises that focus on:
 

• Replacing fear of rejection with the gift of authenticity
• Letting go of old stories that limit our choices
• Bypassing right and wrong to focus on compassion
• Using our language to help us stay in our power
• Discovering how the caretaker can be as disempowered as the cared-for
• Letting go of futile attempts to change others
• Separating our needs from those of others
• Noticing who’s in charge of who we are
• Self responsibility as the first step in dealing with jealousy

 
This HAI sponsored workshop is open to adults of any age.

CANCELLATION POLICY

You may transfer or cancel up to 24 hours before the event begins with no fees. Starting 24 hours before the event is scheduled to begin, your workshop fee is no longer transferable or refundable.
