Event Summary

Being in a relationship is a profound commitment to a third thing... A living, breathing partnership. Here you are, individuals with unique lives full of varying interests, loves, histories and longings… you have come together and created a pulsing, ever changing independent and interdependent connection. People of all variations come together to deepen, to explore, to perhaps renew and to stir up this soup of connections and desires and bafflements.

Event Team

Facilitators

I care deeply about our world, our children, our planet. I am a person who is full of joy and love. I'm interested in the intangible aspects of our human experience, seeing beyond the limits the mind. Since I was young, I've had a natural curiosity about our differences as people, including culture and values. I've lived in Japan, India (briefly), Australia and the US. I've been living in the US since 1995, having come here to do a masters degree. I'm madly in love with my wife, Sarah, who is also a HAI Facilitator. And I love being the father of a teenage boy, Jeremy, who has taught me so much about life.
Sarah is a lover of all people. She is a deeply kind, authentic, and revealing facilitator. She has been leading HAI workshops since 1995. Sarah creates the safety for men and women to thrive in areas of love, emotional intimacy, spirituality and sexuality. Her passion is working with women to shed their shame around sexuality and blossom into their sexual aliveness. She currently also leads her women’s workshop called "All About Sex for Women." Sarah is very open about her life and her history, allowing people to feel at ease and supported by her. She is a powerful leader and combines this with a lovely sense of humor. Sarah’s was trained in process therapy at the Process Therapy Institute. The quote she aspires to live by is, “I refuse to tiptoe carefully through life only to arrive safely at my grave.” She has three children and 5 grandchildren and a magnificent relationship with her husband Peter.
