Event Summary

Choice is so much more than saying “yes” or “no.” What is the full range of options at any given moment? What do you do when you don’t know what to do? Do you go along with the crowd? Or do you feel into what is right for you, and make your own choice?

If you were to hit a “reset” button on your life, what would you choose now? Are there people you need to heal relationships with? Are there important things left unfinished in any aspect of your life

HAI emphasizes choice from the very first session of the first workshop. In Loving Your Choices we take it much further. How were you conditioned to be the gender you were raised to be? Were there essential parts of yourself that you let go of in order to be accepted, perhaps even to survive? Are there experiences or ways of being you would like to try on, but never have?

HAI is adding a mandatory $45 surcharge to in-person weekend workshops to cover COVID testing and other COVID related expenses until they are no longer necessary.

HAI Global is committed to the safety of its participants, volunteers and employees. You will be asked to provide a negative COVID test 2-4 days before the workshop in addition to testing onsite at registration.

Facilitators

Anne Watts is a certified hypnotherapist and an educator and counselor in the areas of human sexuality, sexual abuse, family stress, self-esteem and healing the inner child. She also works with financial and aging issues. Anne creates a safe, nonjudgmental environment where participants experience being seen, heard and validated. She has the ability to read between the lines and hone in on the heart of the matter. Her depth of compassion and insight has helped many to find their own path. Since 1985, she has facilitated hundreds of workshops in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Japan, Germany and England.
Jason Weston has been a part of the Human Awareness Institute community for more than 40 years. As a facilitator, Jason assists individuals and couples in creating for themselves the lives they really want by guiding them to see and express their own beauty, power and love. Jason was trained at the Process Therapy Institute and holds a degree in philosophy from the University of California, Berkeley. Jason is passionate about creating a world in which all people have their needs met, and nature is allowed to thrive. Jason lives with his life partner, Marci Graham, in a remote area of California, abundant with wildlife and beauty. Their commitment to telling “all the truth, all the time” is a cornerstone of their relationship.

Event Details

As we begin to stand more fully in ourselves, we can choose our own desires out of a clear commitment to ourselves. We stop and wonder “what is it I truly want?” We take stands we had not taken before as well as opening a door to looking at what influences of culture, parenting, school, friends and family have shaped why we do what we do.

There is an opening of understanding about how at choice we truly are when we pay attention. We begin to ask ourselves, “Why do I do what I do? Do I choose or does my programming choose?” We use the edginess of our sexuality to explore the universality of choice. The inherent pulse of our body’s longings opens the way to attuning to our body’s wisdom, informing our moment-by-moment, day-by-day decision making.

This workshop provides you with the opportunity to see clearly the underlying causes of your behaviors. You’ll examine your programmed responses to see that your choices are often restricted by your past. You can expect to:

  • Learn about adapted behavior, and liberate yourself from “group think”

  • Recognize gender roles and free yourself from unnecessary restrictions

  • Gain a much deeper understanding of why you do what you do

Once the looking within begins the doors swing wide open.

“Level 3 helped me step into my own power and make the choices I wanted for my life. I never knew that I could be so happy.” ~C.A.

“My self-consciousness and life-long negativity actually went away somewhere and hasn’t returned. I feel I really connected with people on a very basic level, a simple appreciation that we were all feeling much the same things, with similar needs.” ~C.R.

Event Policy

COVID ATTENDANCE POLICY

HAI Global is committed to the safety of its participants, volunteers and employees. Please refer to our COVID-19 Attendance Policy prior to registration.

HAI will continue to require all participants and staff to take a COVID test 2-4 days prior to the workshop and send proof of a negative result to us in advance of the event. You may use an antigen test, however, HAI highly recommends the more accurate PCR test. We also ask that you take extra precautions to avoid becoming infected (e.g., distancing, masking when in crowds) for the week prior to your workshop.

You will need to take an COVID test, (HAI provides) upon arrival at the workshop site, before your registration is complete.

Not passing the on-site COVID test, running a fever (99.5°F/37.5°C or more), exhibiting other symptoms of infectious illness (e.g., sore throat, swollen glands, sneezing, coughing, fatigue, rash, malaise), and/or not signing the waiver will result in disallowment from the event. If upon entering the event you find yourself sick or cannot produce the appropriate documents, you will be asked to leave. In either case, your registration fees will be rolled to a future workshop.

Because of the protocols we require to enter a workshop, we are not requiring masks nor social distancing during a weekend workshop.  We will have masks available on-site by request.

Carpooling: As much as HAI typically encourages carpooling, for now, we are asking people to drive separately if at all possible. Be aware that if anyone in the carpool tests positive then everyone in the carpool will be refused admission to the workshop and will need to reschedule.

HAI is adding a mandatory $45 surcharge to in-person weekend workshops to cover COVID-related expenses.

CANCELLATION & TRANSFER POLICY

We understand that forces out of your control and ours may happen. We ask that you give us as much advance notice as possible if you need to postpone or transfer a workshop date or offering. Once you are confirmed in a workshop, your payment is non-refundable. If you need to postpone, HAI has a myriad of workshops both in an in-person setting as well as a growing number of online offerings where you may transfer all or part of your deposit or workshop fee according to the following schedule:

  • 15 days or more prior to the workshop, 15% postponement fee
  • 8-14 days before a workshop date, 30% postponement fee
  • 7 days until the workshop starts, 50% postponement fee
  • Once the workshop starts, 100% fee (no refunds)

Postponement fee is a percentage of full workshop price at time of purchase and is based on the first date of a multiple event purchase.

REFUND POLICY

If a credit balance remains after fees are deducted, you have 1 year to use the credit by attending another online or in-person HAI workshop.

Once you start a workshop we ask that you stay for the entire time. We also realize that emergencies or illnesses may take place where you have to leave. Please contact a team member or facilitator if you need to leave.

After 1 year, all payments and/or credits expire and are non-refundable.

ADA POLICY

If you need an accommodation to attend a HAI event, contact your local HAI Office at least ten (10) days before the event and inform them of the nature of the disability and your needs. In the case of events held in private homes, additional time may be required.  See our ADA Policy for more information.
