Event Summary

A Team Workshop is a weekend designed specifically for our beloved Assistants and Interns as an opportunity to connect, learn new skills, feel appreciated, try on some new exercises, and have some fun in community! Our Facilitator team offers new exercises designed to help us deepen our awareness, heighten our skills, and strengthen our connection with each other.  We'll spend some time reflecting on the past and envisioning an even stronger future. Team Workshop is created anew each time so you never quite know what to expect! We hope that you will join us if you can!
----------------

Even though technically you are a Participant in a Team Workshop (TWS), we register folks for TWS as either Team-Assistant or Team-Intern.  Please choose the correct designation and register as such.  Thank you!

**INTERNS ONLY-you need to check the box under Global Discounts to get the Intern price**

Do not register as a Participant for a Team workshop.

Facilitators

I've been facilitating HAI workshops for over 20 years - hard to imagine so much time has gone by! But, I'm doing what I love, one workshop, group, and individual heart at a time. My favorite color is purple. I love to cook, and my apple pie is internationally renowned - a family secret recipe passed down through generations. I'm the very proud mother of two beautiful grown children, four beautiful grandchildren through my godson in Detroit and two sons from my husband Tyrone. My joy in life is in helping people step out of pain and fear and into excitement and joy, in relationships and life-work. I consider myself a "transformation midwife" - and I love bringing all of me to support change and growth!
Rich Walkden has had a keen interest in interpersonal relationships and personal growth work from early adulthood. Rich discovered the Human Awareness Institute in 2001. As a facilitator, he uses his training in Clinical Hypnotherapy, personal growth coaching, and as a mental health consultant to support others in moving from disconnection to deep love and vitality. He has facilitated workshops for men convicted of domestic violence, aiding them in learning healthy, compassionate relationship skills. Rich has also effectively coached young adults confronting issues of sexuality and gender. Rich lives in the mountains of Vermont with his wife, Anne. They have a deep and powerful marriage, personifying and putting into action solid relationship principles and choosing love from moment to moment.
Tony Holmes is thrilled to be able to serve as a HAI Global Online Program Facilitator. He is a devoted father of a teenage daughter and an adolescent son. He is a Psychosomatic Therapist with a private practice (TheLoveWarrior.com) and founder of Nude Yoga Chicago. Tony believes that vulnerability leads to intimacy, and that our wounds can become golden antennae that allow us to help others heal. He invites the HAI community to connect with him and looks forward to being in a workshop with you

Event Policy

COVID ATTENDANCE POLICY

HAI Global is committed to the safety of its participants, volunteers and employees. Please refer to our COVID-19 Attendance Policy prior to registration.

HAI will continue to require all participants and staff to take a COVID test 2-4 days prior to the workshop and send proof of a negative result to us in advance of the event. You may use an antigen test, however, HAI highly recommends the more accurate PCR test. We also ask that you take extra precautions to avoid becoming infected (e.g., distancing, masking when in crowds) for the week prior to your workshop.

You will need to take an COVID test, (HAI provides) upon arrival at the workshop site, before your registration is complete.

Not passing the on-site COVID test, running a fever (99.5°F/37.5°C or more), exhibiting other symptoms of infectious illness (e.g., sore throat, swollen glands, sneezing, coughing, fatigue, rash, malaise), and/or not signing the waiver will result in disallowment from the event. If upon entering the event you find yourself sick or cannot produce the appropriate documents, you will be asked to leave. In either case, your registration fees will be rolled to a future workshop.

Because of the protocols we require to enter a workshop, we are not requiring masks nor social distancing during a weekend workshop.  We will have masks available on-site by request.

Carpooling: As much as HAI typically encourages carpooling, for now, we are asking people to drive separately if at all possible. Be aware that if anyone in the carpool tests positive then everyone in the carpool will be refused admission to the workshop and will need to reschedule.

HAI is adding a mandatory $45 surcharge to in-person weekend workshops to cover COVID-related expenses.

ADA POLICY

If you need an accommodation to attend a HAI event, contact your local HAI Office at least ten (10) days before the event and inform them of the nature of the disability and your needs. In the case of events held in private homes, additional time may be required.  See our ADA Policy for more information.

Trained Service Animals as defined by the ADA are always welcome. Service Animals, such as Guide Dogs/Seizure Dogs/Hearing Dogs are trained to perform specific tasks and are working animals, not pets. Pets, Therapy Dogs and Emotional Support Dogs, specifically, are not Service Animals and are not allowed at HAI events.
