Event Summary

Our best selling new workshop is a mystery, even to us. Created by accident through a Eureka moment of miscommunication, the Mystery Workshop is an opportunity to create an all new workshop each year, weaving together feedback and culture, and responding to what is actually occurring in the world, and in the room. Sold out before it’s created, we trust the creative process and that we will find new ways of evolving, breaking patterns, and push our consciousness forward.

Our intention is to continue to create a one-of-a-kind workshop each year that will be offered only one time per region, and not repeated within any region for at least five years. These workshops are intended to challenges our tried and true ways of doing things and catapult us into the sometimes uncomfortableness yet often enlightening essence of newness.

HAI is adding a mandatory $45 surcharge to in-person weekend workshops to cover COVID testing and other COVID related expenses until they are no longer necessary.

HAI Global is committed to the safety of its participants, volunteers and employees. You will be asked to provide a negative COVID test 2-4 days before the workshop in addition to testing onsite at registration.

Event Team

Facilitators

I began doing HAI workshops in 1991 and have been around ever since. One of the founding board members of the HAI Global nonprofit, I share the vision of bringing more love to the world. Traveling to other sites and sharing the same values around the world is thrilling. Sexy After Cancer is a project I started several years ago to help those on the cancer journey have a healthy intimate and sexual life after a cancer diagnosis. I wrote a book by the same name and have spoken at many conferences and taught in medical and nursing schools. I’m an avid cyclist and love exploring in my little RV. If you come to the east coast, let’s share a ride or a hike.
Tony Holmes is thrilled to be able to serve as a HAI Global Online Program Facilitator. He is a devoted father of a teenage daughter and an adolescent son. He is a Psychosomatic Therapist with a private practice (TheLoveWarrior.com) and founder of Nude Yoga Chicago. Tony believes that vulnerability leads to intimacy, and that our wounds can become golden antennae that allow us to help others heal. He invites the HAI community to connect with him and looks forward to being in a workshop with you

Event Details

Our desire is to surprise you, and us, with what might be possible as we walk the edge of awareness about the ever changing and expanding fields of intimacy, love and sexuality.

What’s next? What might we explore together? How might we discover where we have not yet gone? Come join us for the Mystery Workshop, and together we will explore our edges and HAI’s, or perhaps, redefine them.

Event Policy

COVID ATTENDANCE POLICY

HAI Global is committed to the safety of its participants, volunteers and employees. Please refer to our COVID-19 Attendance Policy prior to registration.

HAI will continue to require all participants and staff to take a COVID test 2-4 days prior to the workshop and send proof of a negative result to us in advance of the event. You may use an antigen test, however, HAI highly recommends the more accurate PCR test. We also ask that you take extra precautions to avoid becoming infected (e.g., distancing, masking when in crowds) for the week prior to your workshop.

Not passing the on-site COVID test, running a fever (99.5°F/37.5°C or more), exhibiting other symptoms of infectious illness (e.g., sore throat, swollen glands, sneezing, coughing, fatigue, rash, malaise), and/or not signing the waiver will result in disallowment from the event. If upon entering the event you find yourself sick or cannot produce the appropriate documents, you will be asked to leave. In either case, your registration fees will be rolled to a future workshop.

Because of the protocols we require to enter a workshop, we are not requiring masks nor social distancing during a weekend workshop.  We will have masks available on-site by request.

Carpooling: As much as HAI typically encourages carpooling, for now, we are asking people to drive separately if at all possible. If one person in a car tests positive, we will turn away all the riders in that vehicle.

HAI is adding a mandatory $45 surcharge to in-person weekend workshops to cover COVID-related expenses.

CANCELLATION & TRANSFER POLICY

We understand that forces out of your control and ours may happen. We ask that you give us as much advance notice as possible if you need to postpone or transfer a workshop date or offering. Once you are confirmed in a workshop, your payment is non-refundable. If you need to postpone, HAI has a myriad of workshops both in an in-person setting as well as a growing number of online offerings where you may transfer all or part of your deposit or workshop fee according to the following schedule:

  • 15 days or more prior to the workshop, 15% postponement fee
  • 8-14 days before a workshop date, 30% postponement fee
  • 7 days until the workshop starts, 50% postponement fee
  • Once the workshop starts, 100% fee (no refunds)

Postponement fee is a percentage of full workshop price at time of purchase and is based on the first date of a multiple event purchase.

REFUND POLICY

If a credit balance remains after fees are deducted, you have 1 year to use the credit by attending another online or in-person HAI workshop.

Once you start a workshop we ask that you stay for the entire time. We also realize that emergencies or illnesses may take place where you have to leave. Please contact a team member or facilitator if you need to leave.

After 1 year, all payments and/or credits expire and are non-refundable.

ADA POLICY

If you need an accommodation to attend a HAI event, contact your local HAI Office at least ten (10) days before the event and inform them of the nature of the disability and your needs. In the case of events held in private homes, additional time may be required.  See our ADA Policy for more information.

Trained Service Animals as defined by the ADA are always welcome. Service Animals, such as Guide Dogs/Seizure Dogs/Hearing Dogs are trained to perform specific tasks and are working animals, not pets. Pets, Therapy Dogs and Emotional Support Dogs, specifically, are not Service Animals and are not allowed at HAI events.
